Description
Grape Variety: Primitivo
Production Area: Primitivo di Manduria D.O.P. area in the provinces of Taranto and Brindisi. Very red soil rich in iron oxides upon a layer of calcareous rock.
Vinification: Collection by hand of the grapes, de-stemming and crushing, skin contact at controlled temperature. Draining off and malo-lactic fermentation. Ageing in wood for 9 months.
Best served with: A meditation wine; ideal with grilled meat, seasoned cheese, hard cheese with honey or jam.
Serving temperature: 18°C
Alcohol level: 14,50%
